The team discovered a negative relationship between the fractal dimension of pupil dilation and a person’s workload. It shows that pupil dilation could be used to indicate the mental workload of a person in a multitasking environment.

Now researchers at the University of Missouri have identified an objective way to measure just how stressed you are and it's all about the eyes. 

The new method tracks the location of ICU nurses within a certain range and picks up data on the actions they perform, such as attending to a patient or using an EMR computer.

The team studied the driving behavior of 20 students with different types of warning systems as well as a group of drivers that work for a transportation service.
